Spangled Old English Bantams have bright red combs, faces, wattles and ear lobes. Males and females have entirely different multicolored plumage patterns. All Old English Bantams have single combs, however males must be dubbed in order to show.
Gold Neck d’Uccle Bantams, or Gold Neck Belgian Bearded d’Uccle Bantams, are a rare variety. Their primary color is golden bay with each feather ending with a diamond or V shaped creamy white spangle. The tail is primarily creamy white. The plumage of the male’s back, shoulders, wing fronts, and wing bow is lustrous reddish brown. D’uccle’s are a true bantam, meaning that there exists no full-size equivalent. Straight run only.
The dutch bantams originated from the Netherlands. They are good foragers as well as protective mothers. They do well in confinement and are active birds, although, the males can be aggressive. The Yellow Partridge Dutch used to be known as the Gold Dutch Bantam.
Birchen Cochin Bantams are mostly black with white on their necks and upper breast. The white has narrow black stripes running through each feather to the tip. As chicks, they will be black with an occasional white marking. Cochin Bantams are good mothers and will often go broody. Straight run only.
